Qaiser Nawab Condemns Indian Aggression, Calls for International Action

QAISER NAWAB
, Chairman of the Belt and Road Initiative for Sustainable Development (BRISD), has strongly condemned the recent wave of unprovoked Indian military aggression targeting multiple civilian areas inside Pakistan, including Muridke, Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad.

In his statement, Nawab expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives, including women and children, and condemned the targeting of a mosque, calling it a grave violation of international humanitarian law and human decency.

“These cowardly attacks are not acts of strength—they are acts of savagery,” he stated. “Pakistan reserves the right to defend its sovereignty and people under international law, and our brave Armed Forces have responded with courage and precision.”

According to Nawab, Pakistan’s Air Force successfully shot down two Indian fighter jets, neutralized one surveillance drone, and destroyed a key Indian army sector headquarters in response to the aggression.

He emphasized that Pakistan’s response was an act of legitimate self-defense, as enshrined in Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, and warned that any further provocations will be met with unwavering resolve.

Qaiser Nawab called upon the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Commonwealth, and the broader international community to take immediate and decisive notice of India’s aggression.

“The deliberate targeting of civilian populations and sacred places is a serious crime under international law,” he added. “The world must hold the Indian government accountable and take urgent steps to prevent further escalation.”

He concluded his statement by reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to peace, but also its unshakable unity and readiness to defend every inch of its territory.“Pakistan is united, defiant, and ready. Long live Pakistan.” (001)***
